Happy Father’s Day Shay!
We have had a wonderful first father’s day weekend. It has been an interesting weekend to say the
least. Saturday morning I went into
Brynlee’s room to find her standing up on the side of her crib trying to touch
her rocking horse and zebra next to her bed.
SCARY! She has started pulling up
on things and has no fear of anything.
That evening we started to mow the forest growing around our house
because we have been blessed with quite a bit of rain. We mowed part of it and took a quick break
because dinner was ready. After dinner
we came back outside to find a storm had moved in and there would be no more
mowing…. Oh darn except we still have a forest outside!
On Father’s Day we went to church and then
just pulled through for lunch since I was making a big dinner per Shay’s
request. They messed up our order at the
drive thru and sent out twice as much food as we ordered. We came home took a nap and then made cookies
for daddy. Later that evening Brynlee
and I made daddy’s favorite meal… chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy,
and broccoli cheese casserole. It was
yummy.

As I was posting this blog our "future little blogger" decided she needed to blog too! We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and Father’s Day.
